Happy holidays.
00:01
I'm scar and today I'm gonna teach you guys how to make some
00:03
candy cane roses.
00:07
First.
00:07
You need some candy canes, some ornaments, some Jolly Ranchers
00:11
heavy duty napkins, get your scissors and be careful.
00:14
Don't stab yourself.
00:15
Get some plastic wrap, some blue gloves, some Christmas ribbons
00:18
from the 99 cent store.
00:19
Don't forget your spatula.
00:21
Get a pot and some water.
00:22
Alright, so let's get started.
00:24
Don't try to be a hero.
00:25
Make sure you use your gloves.
00:26
Oh, they don't fit.
00:28
No, I'm just playing.
00:28
There you go.
00:29
So first um I'm gonna put some Dolly Ranchers, make sure you
00:32
get four of them.
00:33
Three of the same flavor and one green one for the leaf.
00:37
Ok?
00:38
They're ready.
00:38
It took about a minute.
00:39
Really?
00:40
You know, it didn't take that long.
00:41
Don't forget your towel.
00:43
You know like Tally says, who knows who Tally is?
00:45
All right.
00:46
So I'm gonna use this candy cane as a stick instead of the a lot
00:49
of sticks.
00:49
Just the same way you just open it and press it down and the way
00:53
I like to wrap this is just wrap it around so it could get stuck
00:57
there and the same thing just kind of twisted a little bit.
01:00
So you see, it's nice and firm, you know.
01:08
So the trick to making this is try not to get it so much wet, you
01:12
know, try to use your towel at all times.
01:14
Every time you touch one, try to wipe your hands with the towel
01:17
Because if you leave too much water on it, it's gonna start
01:20
melting.
01:21
And I like to use a spatula because it has like little ridges
01:24
and the water could fall through.
01:25
You wanna have as less contact with the water as possible and
01:29
make sure you wear your gloves.
01:30
You don't wanna be a hero and get burned.
01:34
All right.
01:35
So that's one of them 100 more to go and we'll be done.
01:38
All right.
01:38
So if you wanna hang it on the Christmas tree, just leave the
01:40
little loopy thing on the cane.
01:42
If not just break it off and use it like a lollipop.
01:45
All right.
01:45
So we're done making the candy rolls this and this is only the
01:48
halfway point, you know, it's getting kind of hot in here.
01:50
So I'm gonna just take this off.
01:52
How's my hair?
01:53
Let me start off with this blue one because the blues, my favorite
01:56
color.
01:57
I like to do it like a diamond, like um get the wrapper and since
02:00
it's a square, do the diamond shape and just wrap it around
02:04
like that.
02:04
And I need some assistance here.
02:06
Ok.
02:06
Right now she's doing a bad job at tying it, but she got it.
02:10
It's the first time on the job you can have whatever ornament
02:13
you want.
02:13
I'm gonna go ahead and add this little cart and just try like
02:16
a shoelace.
02:18
All right.
02:18
So you could personalize it, you know, and give it to someone
02:21
special and hang it on the tree.
02:22
What we're gonna do next is do the snow effect and I like to use
02:26
the styrofoam, just cut into little pieces and just throw
02:28
it on top of it.
02:29
You know what's so cool about it?
02:30
Like there's like static energy on it so it kinda sticks right
02:34
on to it.
02:34
So you don't need any glue and nothing special, just pure science
02:37
for you.
02:38
Alright.
02:38
So no matter what, just be happy to have each other and enjoy
02:41
your candies.
